PayDash is an all-in-one business operating system for Canadian service-based SMBs. It combines invoicing, online booking, payments, client CRM, SMS/email notifications, and analytics in one platform.
Yes! Every new account starts with a 3-month free trial on the Professional plan. No credit card is required to get started.
PayDash automatically calculates the correct taxes based on your province: GST (5%) for Alberta, HST (13%) for Ontario, or parallel GST + QST (5% + 9.975%) for Quebec. Taxes are always calculated independently on the subtotal — never compounded (tax on tax).
PayDash uses Stripe to accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Your clients can pay via shareable payment links or directly from invoice emails.
PayDash uses Telnyx for toll-free SMS. Clients must opt in to receive messages (CASL express consent). They can reply STOP at any time to opt out. SMS usage is tracked per billing period, and overages are billed at a configurable per-message rate.
Each plan includes a monthly SMS allowance. If you exceed it, additional messages are billed at $0.02 per SMS (configurable by the platform admin). You'll see your usage in real-time on the billing page.
Yes! PayDash is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your phone's home screen for an app-like experience without downloading from an app store.
PayDash runs inside a Docker container and is designed for deployment via Dokploy (a Docker-based PaaS). You can host it on any VPS with Cloudflare for DNS and SSL termination.
Phase 1 is Canada-only (CAD), but the architecture supports USD seamlessly. The currency field is on every organization and invoice, so expanding to the US won't require database migrations.
Yes! Each business gets a Client Portal at /b/your-slug/portal. Clients log in with their email and a unique access code to view their bookings, invoices, and make payments.
PayDash ships with industry templates for car washes, tattoo artists, painters, barbers, personal trainers, and cleaning services — but the dynamic custom fields system means it works for any service business.
Absolutely. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Your data remains accessible in read-only mode.
